Black British Business Awards announce 2020 finalists

 

The Black British Company Awards, now in its seventh 12 months, has announced its 2020 finalists representing some of the country’s best black expertise across a range of industries.

Released in Britain in 2014, the awards aim to celebrate and recognise “the normally unsung contributions of fantastic black company experts and entrepreneurs” in arts and media, shopper and luxurious, entrepreneurs, financial expert services, professional expert services, and STEM (science, technologies, engineering and maths).

The finalists this year have been picked not only for their own and professional achievements, but from the tumultuous backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic and the resurgence of the Black Life Make a difference motion. 

Melanie Eusebe and Sophie Chandauka, co-founders named this year’s finalists “some of the most established and impressive black leaders in the British isles”.

“What significantly shines by means of is the selection of professions from a founder of a groundbreaking equine diet technique to a reserve publisher and running administrators at major financial companies. These fantastic men and women should be really proud of their achievements, they are inspiring the subsequent technology of black expertise to obstacle conference and observe in their footsteps.”

The Telegraph is a media lover for the awards, the primary sponsors for which involve JP Morgan, Barclays, Baker McKenzie, Bloomberg, Facebook, Fortnum and Mason, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo. 

The winners for each and every group will be announced in the course of a digital awards ceremony on October 2.
