MARKET LIVE: Sensex, Nifty turn volatile after recovery; India VIX up 30%

The Indian marketplaces staged some recovery immediately after reopen but ended up highly volatile. The S&P BSE Sensex was buying and selling all-around the 32,750 concentrations immediately after hitting the lows of 29,388 intra-day. The broader Nity50 index also climbed off the lows of eight,555, down about ten for each cent, immediately after which buying and selling was halted for 45 minutes. The index was hovering all-around 9,600 concentrations.

Solar Pharma (up about 5%), HDFC (up four%) and Bharti Airtel (up two%) ended up the best gainers in the Sensex pack. On the other hand, Nestle (down seven%) and Asian Paints (down six%) dragged the indices.
