Mastercard and Visa block Russian payments after West ramps up sanctions

Mastercard has stated it’s blocked “many” money institutions immediately after western nations slapped challenging sanctions on Russia.
The credit card company failed to say which institutions have been limitations, but reported it was doing work with regulators on the subject. Visa has also explained it is getting action to assure compliance with sanctions.
