Ryanair launches first buy one get one free sale

Ryanair has introduced its to start with “buy a single, get a single free” sale in a bid to strengthen flagging passenger numbers.

Customers who ebook a flight right before midnight on Thursday for journey up to December fourteen on one,600 routes will get a second ticket at no more cost.

The move follows the airline’s decision to further lower operations thanks to coronavirus journey limits.

Its ability in Oct will be 40pc of 2019 degrees, when compared with the 50pc it earlier introduced.

Ryanair chief govt Michael O’Leary mentioned demand for foreseeable future bookings was terrible.

“Into November and December our forward bookings are working at about 10pc – that’s about a quarter of where they would commonly be at this time of the year,” he told Sky News.

“We are unable to rule out work losses but in Ryanair we’re definitely desperately performing with our folks to avert them.”
