Trump Administration Draws Bipartisan Pressure Over Russia ‘Bounty’ Intelligence

WASHINGTON—Republican and Democratic lawmakers united Monday all around demands that the White Dwelling detail intelligence indicating Russia had compensated bounties to insurgents to have American forces killed in Afghanistan, and reveal why President Trump evidently was not briefed on the risk to U.S. troops.

Senior Republicans in Congress, who often are supportive of Mr. Trump, said that even if the intelligence isn’t yet completely verified, it should really be taken very seriously and the president should really have been produced mindful of it.
